Soft-crush Vase

Soft-crush vase is jointly developed by kar and studio KAE. The collaboration comes from the collision of the connotations of both parties. The shape of the vase is taken from studio KAE's crush vase, while the material continues kar's iconic fiberglass. In terms of shape, Crush uses geometric sections to decompose the traditional bucket vase shape. The fiberglass material used by soft-crush is softer and more changeable than ceramics. It does not need to follow the material characteristics of ceramics, and can be further developed in appearance, more truly expressing the emotional components of the two parties and their understanding of vases. On the basis of the original, soft-crush vase becomes more rounded and "soft", and the surface has irregular bumps and undulations, which can't help but remind people of the organic appearance of kar's "unintentional" series of furniture. The glass fibers of the primary color fiberglass are randomly distributed throughout the bottle. Since there is no additional paint, the fiber texture visible to the naked eye gives it a seemingly fragile and delicate feeling. Because the material feels warm and smooth, similar to skin, the delicate and familiar feeling are integrated in the soft-crush to achieve a consistent harmony.
