    Tenon joints are a traditional method of connecting wooden parts in Asian furniture design. This method is very time-consuming and requires skilled craftsmen to complete.

    This armchair uses the simplest method of wooden tenon joints as a formal language, paired with natural textured fabrics to express the spirit of Chinese architecture.

    Jaco & Zhen

    Jaco studied at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and upon graduation, received an offer from Porsche Design Berlin. Focusing on both domestic and foreign market trends and brand strategies, she has assisted several e-commerce clients in organizing product lines and establishing their own brands from scratch.

    Zhen studied at HfG Karlsruhe in Germany under the guidance of Avangard Dutch designer Chris Kabel and Mario Minale. And then he did his internship in Marcel Wanders Studio in Amsterdam. He explores phenomena of our everyday lives and materials, and approaches to their relevant design answers.
